Reporter's name: Sego Jackson and Diane Eileen
Sighting Description: 5 tufted puffins flying low over water in tight formation, flying west to east past Shore Meadows (Mutiny Bay). Seen by 2 PGU shore meadows surveyors (Sego and Diane) at 8:15. I tried to report in real time from my phone but mistyped or it autocorrected to "rusted puffins" so the report was rejected. Having just been the day before on Sound Water Stewards' excellent Smith and Minor Islands trip to see puffins, etc., I was shocked to see them in Mutiny Bay area and wonder what they were doing there.
Location: Beach at end of Shore Meadow Road.

Sighting Description: Casein’s Vireo was observed during pigeon guillemot survey on Penn
Cove at Monroe Landing. This was confirmed with Merlin app. This is a rare bird sighting.

Sighting Description: Adult turkey vulture (no visible tags) feeding on rabbit roadkill, ~
30 ft from car. It was cautious of the car, & flew away before capturing a photo.
Location: On Classic Road, ~250 ft west of intersection with SR 525
